Summit Ttakshang Residency Hotel & Spa Mg Marg

This hotel was booked by our travel agent Galaxy tours and travel. It’s on a hill about 10 to 15 minutes from the Gangtok market. It’s nice near and clean. The room we were staying in was big and had a seperate lounge area,, luggage area as well. There is tea coffee making facility too which is well stocked. The bathroom has water heating system which has to be turned on earlier for a warm shower. However it runs out quickly so the next person has to wait for a bit. That’s the same with hair drier- it just stops working. Toiletries are provided so it’s easy for traveller. Breakfast area is small and can get squishy cos lots of table are placed in a small area.We ordered dinner from the kitchen which was nicely prepared and presented and the quantity was good too. The hotel is switching to QR coding system so phones don’t have number display anymore.

The staff was extremely hospitable. Responsiveness to calls and requirements were addressed to immediately. The food was awesome and the breakfast spread was nothing less than delectable, both in terms of variety and taste. Proximity to MG Road was icing on the cake. We are very happy with the experience we had in the property and would like to recommend it to all the travellers to Gangtok.

We enjoyed game room alot. Rooms are very comfortable and specially staff's behavior are more than awesome. As we have booked at quite cheap rate, it was more than value for money.

Very well kept property. World class service standards. Nice and cosy rooms. Very delicious food. Could not find anything missing in the hotel. Will recommend to anybody.

Worst services. They don't have room heater which is necessary in gangtok. Food is ok and location is also ok

Nice stay but as per booking room not available. Food was good and one plate is sufficient for 2 adults
